West Rd. across from Caley Woods Reservation:
Four species blackbird flock (one Rusty)
Bursley Rd. (just south of Findley SP):
NORTHERN SHRIKE 1 south side of road about a quarter mile east of S.R. 58; Fun stuff! We've been checking this awesome-looking field for this species for years. There is extensive shrike habitat on both sides of the road here, so the bird could be anywhere.
Findley SP:
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch 8
Wellington Reservoir:
SNOW GOOSE 2 white-morph
Ring-necked Duck 3
Lorain County Regional Airport:
Rough-legged Hawk 1
Early in the AM, Emil Bacik and Dana had three Short-ears at the airport.
Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
Sheffield Lake
