Today, at 5PM, at the SR224 bridge over Berlin Reservoir, on the Mahoning/Portage County line, was a large body of water. A nice variety of waterfowl was there. They are listed here in order of abundance.
Ring-billed Gull 3000+

Canvasback 450+
Red-breasted Merganser 400+
Redhead 350+
Canada Goose 200+
Hooded Merganser 100+
Common Merganser 40 males 15 females
Herring Gull 30+
Lesser Scaup 20+
American Black Duck 20+
Northern Pintail 14 males 6 females
Common Goldeneye 20+
Mallard 10+
Greater Scaup 2 pair
Bufflehead 1 pair
Bald Eagle 1 adult
Bob Lane
