We went and birded the Magee Marsh boardwalk and the trail around the nature
center.  The following is a list of today's highlights:



1.      Hermit Thrush
2.      Swainson's Thrush
3.      Gray Catbird
4.      Ovenbird
5.      Yellow Warbler
6.      Common Yellowthroat
7.      Chestnut-sided Warbler
8.      Wilson's Warbler
9.      Palm Warbler
10.     Cape May Warbler
11.     Yellow-rumped Warbler
12.     Blue-winged Warbler
13.     House Wren
14.     Lincoln's Sparrow
15.     White-throated Sparrow
16.     Green Heron
17.     Great Egrets
18.     Trumpeter Swans
19.     Canada Geese
20.     Tree Swallows
21.     Barn Swallows
22.     Purple Martins
23.     Red-winged Blackbird
24.     Common Grackle
25.     Brown-headed Cowbird
26.     Killdeer
27.     American Robin
28.     Gold Finch
29.     Brown Thrasher
30.     Northern Cardinal



Plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures made it a great day to be out
birding.
