Following up on a recent report of good duck numbers at Logan Lk, I made a brief visit this afternoon. Most ducks were at the farthest reach of scope view but appeared to be a good mix of Mergs. I spotted a small grp of distant Ruddies & 2 pair of Gadwall (& of course mallards) so not the numbers/var from before.
I did get my FOS Tree Swallows.
I also had lovely views of a Red-shouldered hawk flying overhead w/a small but still writhing snake in its talons. A Red-tailed & many TVs.
Saw at least one Bonaparte's Gull & some Ring-billeds. Plus one Belted KF.
