I had a chance to check Summit L. in Akron, Summit Co. this afternoon. Seen were: Canada geese, mallards, 100 ring-necked ducks, 55 hooded mergansers, 26 ruddy ducks, 4 pied-billed grebes, horned grebe, an imm. bald eagle, 40 Am. coots, and ring-billed gulls. On the way home, I saw another bald eagle at Meander Res. in Mahoning Co. Craig Holt, Lowellville
