I birded at Conneaut harbor from 7:30 till noon today.   Overall it was pretty slow but there were some good birds.  Best was a calling Lapland longspur which came in off the lake late morning.  Other than killdeer, the only shorebirds were 2 ruddy turnstones and 7 sanderlings.  Other birds of note were a common merganser, 2 flyby flocks of red-breasted mergansers totaling 18 birds, a couple bald eagles, and a fly-through peregrine falcon.  Craig Holt, Lowellville, Mahoning Co.
