Road to US Coast Guard Station
Observers: Larry Rosche + m. obs.

Headlands was jumping this morning. (See Marilyn Rohr's post.) Birding conditions were definitely challenging, with low light, WNW winds and birds flitting through the tree tops. However, the Black Vulture seen earlier by Jerry Talkington, Ray Hannikman and crew (See Gabe Leidy's post.) was spotted coming into roost. It stayed in the same place long enough for everyone in our group to see and, for those with cameras -- not me, photograph.
