Black Friday is for the birds...at least for me it is. I couldn't think of
a better way to spend the day than birding.

It was quality over quantity around the Wilds today. Highlights included a
GOLDEN EAGLE spotted from the Jeffery Point Bird Station actively hunting
within the fenced area of the Wilds.

A MERLIN was seen along Coal Hill Rd.

Other sightings...

Red-tailed Hawk - only 1
Rough-legged Hawk - 2
Northern Harrier - 2

Trumpeter Swan - 4
Ring-necked Duck - nearly 300

ZERO Short-eared Owls were seen.
