Following Dwight Chasar's suggestion, this morning Susan Jones and I headed
in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to survey the area south of Peninsula,
particularly the corn fields south of Szalay's barn. We were rewarded with a
dozen Snow Buntings and a dozen Horned Larks. in addition we saw:
American Crow 17
Red-shouldered Hawk 3
American Tree Sparrow 35
Canada Goose 29
Dark-eyed Junco 7
Ring-billed Gull 16
Mourning Dove 21
Rock Pigeon 17
Eastern Bluebird 1
Northern Cardinal 4
Bule Jay 5
Tufted Titmouse 3
Black-capped Chickadee 7
Red-tailed Hawk 1
Downy Woodpecker 1
Clyde Witt
