Hello All,

I was birding yesterday in the Newport/Newell's Run area with the Brooks Bird Club of WV, and we encountered a VERY early Barn Swallow at the farm that is bordered by OH-Rt 7 and Greene Street in the middle of town.

At Newell's Run on Friday the 3rd, I had a Great Egret, which apparently is a continuing bird. Yesterday, on the 4th, 5-6 Yellow-rumped Warblers were present. On both days, there were 6-10 Pied-billed Grebes, Gadwalls and Hooded Mergs.
