The area was relatively quiet today. On the water of the bay were some
American Coots, Bufflehead, and scaup, along with the usuals. In
addition to the Tree Swallows, there were several Northern Rough-
winged Swallows. Several Yellow-rumped Warblers hawked insects around
the pond and a pair of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers chasied one another.
There was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet in the trees around the pond, too.
