Seven warbler species on Dayton Audubon Society walk at SVWA this
morning:  Prothonotary, Yellow-throated, Yellow, Northern Parula, Palm, Pine,
and many Yellow-rumped.  Heard Blue-winged and two other birders spotted
Cerulean, but it flew away before anyone else could see it.  Other species among
the 47 seen (plus 4 heard only)included Sora, Osprey, Red-shouldered Hawk, Marsh
Wren, Baltimore Oriole, Hairy Woodpecker, Gray Catbird, and Field Sparrow, along
with all the usual suspects.  Two days ago, my grandson and I observed about a
dozen Brown Thrashers along the bike path, but we did not see or hear any today.
