Last Wednesday, Oct. 3, I viewed a Peregrine Falcon in flight at the Darby Creek Wetlands, North pond. I went there to see if there was any water in the pond since we have had some recent rains. No water at that time but I noticed a large raptor on the far side of the pond on the ground. It had a dark face so I watched it through the scope. Suddenly it took off chasing a bird and flew very near to my position. 4 quick shots with the camera and I was able to get one poor shot that did show field marks verifying a Peregrine.
