Of all things, as I write this, I have a Pine Siskin on my feeder, in Washington County, near Marietta.
We have White-throated Sparrows singing their wonderful song. L. Waterthrush, and Yellow-throated Warblers are here too. I saw one Red-breasted Merganser at Newell's Run Backwater, just north of Marietta on Rt. 7 yesterday. He was accompanied by Rough-winged Swallows, and a Greater Yellowlegs.
