On Saturday, we had very low water levels on South Bass Island with gale force
winds. I walked to Scheeff East Point Preserve to see what was out. Not much
in the way of waterfowl yet other than cormorants.
xxx Herring Gulls
xxx Ring-billed Gulls
xx Bonaparte Gulls
xxxx Double-crested Cormorants
1 Common Loon
3 Red-breasted Mergansers
1 Eastern Phoebe
1 Song Sparrow
1 Swamp Sparrow
Northern Cardinals
Yellow-rumped Warblers
Ruby-crowned Kinglets
There was probably more around but laying low with all the wind.
