The Red-throated Loon off Walnut Street access continued to offer point-black views this late afternoon. Just be aware that it can stay under quite a while when it's actively feeding. Also present on the lower reservoir (below County Line Bridge) were 1 Common Loon, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 3 Hooded Mergansers, 80+ Bonaparte's Gulls, and 50+ Ring-billed gulls. The spillway below the dam held the expected Mallards and Great Blue Herons, but the surrounding parkland held nothing noteworthy in the way of landbirds.
