Saw and heard a few migrants today on Ohio Dominican's campus. Mist-netting with Ecology and General Biology classes yielded 2 Northern Cardinals, 1 American Robin, and 3 White-throated Sparrows; the highlights stayed above the nets, and consisted of Yellow-throated Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, and Ovenbird. Also heard Eastern Towhee, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and other resident and returning species. Last night I heard Chimney Swifts on campus for the first time this year.
