Birds of interest observed at Spring Valley today included Purple Martins, Barn Swallows, Phoebes, Field Sparrows, Osprey and Bald Eagle.
There were a few of the expected ducks such as Wood Ducks. Blue-winged Teal, Ring-Necks, L. Scaup, Bufflehead and lots of coots. There were noticeable increases in yellow-rumped warbler and tree swallow numbers.
