Hello Ohio Birders,

To add to the flurry of recent reports, this morning on private property near intersection of Buena Vista & Middlefork Rds, Hocking Co., in addition to the resident birds I had: phoebe, tree & rough-winged swallows, brown thrasher (singing, on territory), Louisiana waterthrush, chipping sparrow. (The phoebes have probably been there for a few weeks but I haven't been there.)

Also, a snipe was in the little drainage channel behind the west (Bowen Rd.) parking and viewing area at Pickerington Ponds this morning. Not much waterfowl variety (Canada goose, mallard, ring-necked & wood duck) but things turn over quickly there.

Happy birding,

Dave Horn
