I made a quick stop at Pickerington Ponds Metro Park in Columbus this
morning. I wasn't dressed for the cold so didn't stick around too long.
There is lots of open water and there were lots of ducks. The only two spots
I checked were Ellis Pond and Teal Pond.

Pied-billed Grebe
Canada Goose
Green-winged Teal
Black Duck
Mallard
Pintail--several dozen
Northern Shoveler
Gadwall
American Wigeon
Canvasback. Saw one male in the back section of Teal Pond.
Redhead--lots
Ring-necked Duck--lots
Scaup sp.
Hooded Merganser--dozens
Common Merganser--three males and three females in Ellis Pond
Ruddy Duck

Other birds seen included
Eastern Bluebirds
Ring-necked Pheasant male in glorious splendor at the feeder at Teal Pond
Song Sparrows
Great Blue Herons
Red-winged Blackbirds
Common Grackles
Carolina Chickadees
Downy Woodpecker
