Hey all -
Pretty decent morning, despite some chilling & persistent rain drops. Started with two Glaucous Gulls (1st-cycle, ad) from home before heading out. At an overlook just to the east of SR-301 & US-6, a distant, tight-knit flock of 15 White-winged Scoters were visible. Avon Lake Power Plant was much improved from yesterday afternoon's visit. A flock of 16 White-winged Scoters swam by at a good clip heading east, which I'll assume were the same birds I had just seen. Also present were cooperative Iceland (2 - 1st & 2nd-cycle) and Glaucous (1st) Gulls, and three Horned Grebes.
Good birding -
