The Melvin quarry east of Wilmington on SR22 held thousands of Canada Geese this morning along with over 30 Snow Geese and 3 smaller white geese that kept their heads tucked. There were also 9 Tundra Swans. Many of the geese flew to the fields just east on SR22 but I don’t know of a convenient place to stop and scan that area.
