In addition to the large mixed flock of usuals (chickadees, wb
nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, and tufted titmice) hanging around the
place were some nice golden-crowned kinglets, an eastern bluebird, and a
couple of brown creepers. Numerous Carolina wrens, cardinals, hairy,
red-bellied, and pileated woodpeckers (just one), white-throated and
song sparrows, American gold and house finches rounded out the day. I
keep hoping for some siskins or tree sparrows but they have yet to appear.
