A male Dickcissel was singing this afternoon in a dead white ash tree (the
fourth, farthest & largest along the ditch) about 200 yards west of the
Island Road. Easy to hear & see from the road, but a spotting scope is
helpful. There's a pull-off on the east side of the road used for tractor
access to the nearby field.
