Hi Everyone,
His morning, as I was changing the water in a bird bath at the side of the
house, I noticed a flash of red at my side. A male Ruby-Throated
Hummingbird, the first of the year, hovered inches from my hand for a few
minutes, checking out the flow of water from the house and evidently
deciding (quite correctly) that it was too strong to fly through. A great
way to start the day!
Best wishes,
Steve Cagan
