At 1:30pm this afternoon I ventured out along the Harrier Loop trail in the
Prairie Wetland area off of Darby Creek Drive. As I approached the Rail Way
trailhead I heard two Dickcissels singing back and forth. One flew off
while the other remained, serenading me for 10 minutes and giving me great
looks! I continued around the trail, only seeing of note a male Blue-winged
Teal and a Grasshopper Sparrow. They were still there as I passed back
through, with a possible third farther off to the east.
