Today started slow and ended slow, but between 7:45 and 8:45 it was great.
There was a great movement of waterfowl with 17 species being seen. The
best birds were a pair of cackling geese and a pair of white-winged scoters.
Also of note were 48 wood ducks with a single flock of 42 birds. There were
a decent number of gulls, but nothing of note amongst them. There were
about 100 crows migrating eastward, but that was it for passerine migrants
due to the north winds.
