A Black Tern was found yesterday evening by Joanne Priest at Nimisila
Reservoir. She posted some great photos taken from kayak on eBird. I
relocated it this morning, viewing from the C6 boat launch parking lot on
Christman Rd. It was flying west of the island and reed patches, diving
frequently and disappearing behind the reeds.

If you try in the afternoon or evening, you would have better views from
the west at the boat launch ramp off Main St. You can park there and then
walk south in the woods a little ways, staying near the shore, until it
opens up to a large area where you can view the island and reed patches to
the south.
