I finally saw the ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK I've been waiting for today at Mosquito.
We found it hovering over a field on Mahan Denman Rd. We observed it for
around 5 minutes until a juvenile eagle flew in and seemingly drove it off.

Unfortunatley we were still unable to relocate the Northern shrike we saw on
11/30.

Also, there were a couple large flocks of Horned larks yesterday afternoon
eating in the fields on Calla Rd. in Beaver (Mahoning County). I would
roughly estimate 200-250 individuals. 2 Ring-necked pheasant males, 35 Tree
sparrows, and 1 Northern mockingbird were also present.
