On my way to work this morning I viewed three swans in the gravel pit pond
(Circle Hill Gravel) along Highway 33 between The Plains and the Wayne
National Forest Office. Unfortunately, I was kinda whizzing by and
couldn't get a great look. It didn't appear that they had neck bands (or
so I think). I will be heading back by there later this morning and hope
to pull over and get a better look if I see them again. In case anyone
else is in the area you may want to take a look. They could be Mute Swans
but just aren't sure yet. One of our guys reported seeing two swans there
a couple of days ago but I haven't seen them until this morning and another
one appears to have joined them. Thanks.
