After such a dud yesterday, shorebirds were returning today.  Here's  our
list:

Main Park:

Lesser yellowlegs
BAIRDS sandpipers - 2
Pectoral sandpipers
Solitary sandpipers
Least sandpipers
Spotted sandpipers
Killdeer
Blue-winged teal (F)
Wood ducks
Great blue herons
Chimney swifts - hundreds
Barn swallows - 100+
Cliff swallows - at least 10
And all the "regular stuff"

North Park:

Green herons - 2
Spotted sandpiper
Great egret
Killdeer
Great blue herons
Eastern kingbirds w/young
Indigo buntings
Song sparrows
American goldfinches
