Just a note about a possible Arctic Tern that was photographed in Illinois this past weekend.  Illinois is in Ohio's neighborhood, so people may want to keep an eye out for a strange looking tern.

There was an e-mail on the Missouri bird list regarding this bird.  The photos noted in the message can be seen at:

The photos were taken on 09-September.

I'm currently running the banding station up at Delta Marsh in Manitoba, so if an Arctic Tern shows up, I hope it stays around until I get back in early October.
