This morning we had our second Early Morning Discovery Hike at Shawnee
Prairie Preserve located just outside of Greenville. We had 11 people total
on the hike, and had some good bird activity.
Several Flickers, blue jays, other "usuals"...but the best was a Sedge
Wren!! This little guy was only about 30 feet from the boardwalk, and was
singing his heart out. Not only that, but he was in good view most of the
time!
We also had a Blackburnian Warbler that was doing a decent job of showing
himself just long enough for us to focus and then dart behind some more
branches!

Below you will find the list of all that we spotted this morning.
