While I was studying for my Elements of Genetics exam. I observed the
bird activity areound Kendall Lake and the surrounding forest.
The water level was down from its present levels, which in turn gave way
for great mudflat habitat for shore birds. Seen between the hours of 1:00-
2:30pm sunday, weather clear sky, upper 80s.

Solitary Sandpiper (2)
Killdeer
Blue Jay
American Crow
Eastern Phoebe
Eastern Pewee
American Robin
Chipping Sparrow
House sparrow
Turkey Vulture

The rest of the birds were observed in the woods while I went for a run on
the cross country trail.
