There was a White winged Scoter with a group of Ruddy Ducks on the lake today.  It looked like there were four more scoters, but they kept their heads tucked.  The color and body shape was right.  The scoter was seen from the dam.  Here is the rest of the birds I saw in the park today:

Common Loon 3, Pied-billed Grebe 5, Great Blue Heron 2, Turkey Vulture 3, Gadwall 2, American Black Duck 12, Mallard 100, Canvasback 1, Lesser Scaup 24, White-winged Scoter 5, Ruddy Duck 24, American Coot 1, Killdeer 2, Bonaparte's Gull 10, Ring-billed Gull 12, Herring Gull 4, Mourning Dove 1, Belted Kingfisher 1, Red-bellied Woodpecker 8, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1, Downy Woodpecker 4, Hairy Woodpecker 3, Northern Flicker 1, Blue Jay 24, American Crow 12, Carolina Chickadee 30, Tufted Titmouse 12, White-breasted Nuthatch 6, Carolina Wren 3, Eastern Bluebird 3, American Robin 6, Northern Mockingbird 2, European Starling 12, American Pipit 30, Cedar Waxwing 4, Yellow-rumped Warbler 3, Eastern Towhee 3, Field Sparrow 12, Song Sparrow 6, White-throated Sparrow 24, Dark-eyed Junco 50, Northern Cardinal 24, Purple Finch 2, House Finch 12, American Goldfinch 24
