For two autumns and winters now we've had a gray phase Screech Owl roosting in our owl box. What makes it special is that it's located about twenty feet from our dining room window. He comes out most every evening when we're eating supper. It believes it's invisible because you can walk right under it, feed the birds, play with the dog, and it stays right there. Last year's owl left in March. We believe it's a different individual than last year's. Many friends and neighbors have stopped in to see it. Let me know if you'd like to come see it or show a friend.

Also had a mockingbird on our thistle feeder for about 30 seconds on Friday!
