If you live in the woods and have bird feeders, the flying squirrels may be
visiting your feeders at night. They like our peanut feeder. But they are
hard to spot, since you have to look out at your feeder in the middle of
the night to catch them in the act. The flying squirrels tolerate our back
porch light, but they are wary since they are prey for owls and others.
