Hello Everyone,
There is still excellent shorebird habitat at Teal
Pond in Pickerington Ponds Metropark. Shorebird
migration does seems to be winding down though.
Present today were Long-billed Dowitcher (3), Greater
Yellowlegs, Lesser Yellowlegs, Least Sandpiper,
Semipalmated Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, and
Wilson's Snipe. Also, 16 Great Egrets was a high
count for this area. All in all a pretty good lunch
hour birding trip!

Good birding,
Brad Sparks
Reynoldsburg, OH
