The lists for Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary are now on the "public" access area of eBird for anyone interested in perusing them. There are 162 species so far this calendar year. Not every bird from every list is posted, but it gives a good picture nonetheless. The shorebirds have been present every day since mid July, especially the more common 8 or so species. The offer to take any serious birder through the sanctuary is still open. I'm there nearly every day -- just email. We are now up to 25 species of shorebirds with several species still present in good numbers. Two GLOSSY IBIS made their 2008 debut this morning. If they follow the pattern of past years, they'll be around a few days.
