This afternoon after the Darke County Birders had a 1/2 day outing at the property of two of our members, I was driving on St. Rt. 502 just east of St. Rt. 49 and saw a male Northern Harrier fly across a field.

Other birds in the afternoon at the northwestern Darke Co. property:
turkey vultures( on roads nearby)  7
red belly woodpecker
bluejay
crows 3
C. chickadees 3
wh. br. nuthatches at least 4
yellowrump warblers at least 6
chipping sparrow 1
song sparrow 1
white throated sparrows at least 4
juncos at least 2
goldfinch 1
