Great day for setting on the porch and taken pictures of feeder birds. I do It every once and a while just to see what pops up at my feeder durring the month. And to practice using a flash in a shaded area.

In addition to the usual house sparrows, I saw 1 Pine Siskin today but it was gone by the time I got my camera set up...Oh well here's to tomorrow.

And I also saw and "captured" a Ruby Crested Kinglet..at least I think I did...anyone want to confirm: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s226/sjlarue/OOSociety/Bird%20IDs/RubyCrestedKinglet.jpg.
I am pretty sure that it was a Kinglet because of the size (about an inch to an inch and a half), and by the way it was feeding. But If I'm wrong someone please let me know (off list.)

Also saw a few Male and Female House Finches posing for pictures.
A male and female Downy were at my suet feeder getting a bite or two.
A couple of Titmice popped by for a couple of seeds. But didn't stay long enough to get their picture taken. :-)

I'm hoping that I will be able to get a Siskin tomorow, but now it is time to go build jigsaw puzzles. ;-)

Happy Birding and God Bless

Genesis 1.20

And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
