The White-throated Sparrows came in to downtown Cleveland in good numbers about two nights ago. With overcast skies since then, they've stayed there. The noise and commotion has been a welcomed change to the quiet of the past several weeks. In the NE quadrant of the Square this afternoon, I had the following:

White-throated Sparrow (20+)
Song Sparrow (1)
prob. Lincoln's Sparrow (1)
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (1)
Gray Catbird (1)
Ovenbird (2)
American Redstart (adult male)
Wren (House or Winter) (1)
Common Grackle (2)

Good birding to you.

Tim Colborn
