Sean Williams and I spent an hour today (11 Oct) at the north end of Delaware Reservoir in Delaware County. One juvenile BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER and a fairly late juvenile Baird's Sandpiper were the highlights. There were also hundreds of Killdeer and low numbers of the following shorebirds: Lesser Yellowlegs, Greater Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpiper, Common Snipe. All birds were visible from SR 229.
