This morning I went over to Berlin Res.  Other than ring-billed gulls, birds were tough to come by.  There were 6 great egrets, 45 killdeer, pectoral sandpiper, and 10 herring gulls.  I headed east to Pine L. next, there were a surprising 400 ring-billed gulls here.  Also ruddy duck, d-c cormorant, 8 great egrets, lesser yellowlegs, n. flickers, e. phoebe, yellow-rumped warbler, and c. yellowthroat.  Nearby at Evans L., another 500 ring-billed gulls were gathered.  There were also green-winged teal and 3 pied-billed grebes there.  Back in Poland Twp., I found wood duck, turkey vultures, e. phoebe, Carolina wren, e. bluebirds, Am. robins, yellow-rumped warblers, and red-winged blackbirds.  There seem to be lots of blue jays everywhere I go in NE Ohio lately.  Later, Craig
