While exploring Highland Park Cemetery this afternoon we found a female Merlin with prey. Her primary perches appear to be in Sections 18 and 14, which are south of the Northfield Road entrance to the cemetery and within sight of the road. We watched the Merlin between 3:45 and 4:10.

Highland Park Cemetery is located near the Shaker Heights intersection of Chagrin, Warrensville Center, and Northfield. (Shaker Heights is a SE suburb of Cleveland.) WW Crossbills have been seen here as well, although we did not see them today.
