I saw a horned grebe in the Scioto...just north of Lane Ave. There is a park just to the left after heading north on 33/Riverside Dr. from Lane Ave. Saw it twice about 2 hours apart on Friday afternoon. Also present were common goldeneyes, two buffleheads, female greater scaup (I think), ring necked duck, hooded mergansers, three mute swans....

I'll be glad to take anyone down there tomorrow morning at, let's say, 9:30. Please email me if you're interested and I'll send directions. Of course there is no guarantee that the scoter will still be present.
