Yesterday, March 7, 2009, I was part of a small group that went birding
along the Lake Erie Coast...
We saw a total of 47 different species of birds.
Highlights incluede:
2 Red-necked Grebes at Eastlake Power Plant
1 Merlin at Sims Park
2 White Winged Scooters at Avon Lake Powerplant
2 Long Eared Owls at Caley Woods
Other Birds Seen were
American Coot
Lesser Scaup

Canada Goose
Bonaparte's Gull
Ring-Billed Gull
American Robin
European Starling
Blue Jay
House Sparrow
American Crow
Mourning Dove
