This morning the WHITE-WINGED SCOTER was again observed from the South Shore Marina at Cowan Lake, along with a Common Loon.

Beth Mitchell and I could not re-locate it in the afternoon though she did see a lone Sandhill Crane and a Great Egret. The Crane flew in and both of us heard it but could not find it after it landed. I did see the Egret along with:

15 Ruddy Ducks
2 Northern Shovelers
4 Buffleheads
5 Red-breasted Mergansers
1 Wood Duck (flyover)
12 Bonaparte's Gulls
20 Ring-billed Gulls.
Happy Birder Cheers, Larry Gara
