A peregrine falcon was harrassing a red-tailed hawk near the I-80 bridge
over the Cuyahoga River today at around 12:30, viewable from Riverview Rd.
The hawk wasn't up for the fight. The falcon then flew under the bridge and
south into the woods. There is light evidence of whitewash on the spouting
where the birds often perched last year. I don't know if anyone knows of
whether the nest was successful last year or not, but hopefully they will be
around again this year.
Dave
