Today I did my usual loop around Evans L., Pine L., and Beaver Twp. in eastern Mahoning Co.  Highlights for the day: wood ducks, gadwalls, 10 n. shovelers, 15 blue-winged teal, 2 canvasbacks, 2 redheads, 32 lesser scaup, 53 buffleheads, 8 red-breasted mergansers, 135 ruddy ducks, 3 c. loons, 5 pied-billed grebes, 1 horned grebe, 4 double-crested cormorants, 230 Am. coots, bald eagle, 1 purple martin, 2+ n. rough-winged swallows, 6 barn swallows, tree swallows, e. bluebirds, field sparrow, swamp sparrow, chipping sparrows, dark-eyed juncos, and e. towhee.  Later, Craig
